How to Change Keyboard Themes

aInspired offers a variety of themes to personalize your keyboard's appearance. Here's how to find and apply them.

Changing Your Theme

1. Open the aInspired app from your app drawer.
2. Go to Settings > Themes (or tap the theme icon in the toolbar).
3. Browse the available themes.
4. Tap a theme to preview it.
5. Tap Apply to set it as your active theme.

The change takes effect immediately -- switch back to any app and your keyboard will show the new theme.

Theme Types

Standard Themes

Classic solid-color themes with light and dark options. Clean and easy to read.

Dark / AMOLED Themes

Pure black backgrounds designed for OLED screens. These save battery on phones with OLED displays and are easy on the eyes in dark environments.

Glass Themes

Semi-transparent keys with a frosted glass effect. The transparency level is adjustable, letting you see your wallpaper or app content through the keyboard. You can control:

• Key transparency -- how see-through the keys are
• Border visibility -- thin borders around keys for better visibility

Image Themes

Use your own photos as keyboard backgrounds. Pick any image from your gallery and aInspired will adjust text readability automatically.

Adjusting Theme Settings

For glass and image themes, you can fine-tune the appearance:

1. Go to Settings > Themes > Theme Settings.
2. Adjust key opacity (how transparent the keys are).
3. Adjust border opacity (visibility of key borders).
4. The keyboard automatically adapts text colors and shadows for readability on any background.

Night Mode

aInspired can automatically switch between light and dark themes based on your phone's system setting:

1. Go to Settings > Themes.
2. Enable Follow System Dark Mode.
3. Choose your preferred light theme and dark theme.

The keyboard will switch automatically when your phone enters or exits dark mode.

Tips

• Glass themes look best when your wallpaper or app backgrounds are colorful.
• AMOLED themes save the most battery on phones with OLED screens (most modern phones).
• If text is hard to read on a custom theme, aInspired's adaptive text system will automatically add shadows or adjust contrast.
